My process:
The days and months leading up to your wedding day or vow renewal are very important to me. I am not an officiant who will meet you on your special day and say standard words and then pronounce you husband and wife. I take time to get to know you, plan your day with you and tailor your wedding ceremony to you and your story. My role is to truly honor your union as you demonstrate your commitment to one another and begin a brand new chapter as you begin your marriage. The steps included below are how I typically partner with a couple:
Initial Meeting
The first step is connecting with the couple during a meeting. I love getting the chance to experience their personalities, hear how they met and learn about their love story. I take the time to understand their vision for their ceremony and how I can help to make it a reality.
Ceremony Prep
Next, I take all I learned during our meeting and pour my heart into creating the message for the wedding day. I want to be sure I truly celebrate who they are and their relationship. As I’m preparing the message, I pray for the couple, their future marriage and their families. I share a plan with the couple which includes a complete schedule for the ceremony. This allows us to finalize the plan and message together.
Rehearsal
During the rehearsal, I work with everyone who has a role in the ceremony to ensure they understand their part. I want to be sure everyone is prepared for the ceremony so they are at ease and things can run smoothly on the wedding day.
Wedding Day
In addition to serving as the officiant, I coordinate with everyone necessary to be sure the ceremony runs as it should and that your wedding day is memorable for all the right reasons. I have a wealth of experience as a producer. Being well-versed in event production is extremely beneficial on wedding days.
